About South Coast
The Hibiscus Coast runs south from Amanzimtoti to Port Edward. It has the warmest, safest swimming beaches in South Africa and, half an hour inland, Oribi Gorge — a 24 km canyon with the world’s highest gorge swing hanging across it. Every winter the Sardine Run brings one of the great wildlife spectacles on earth right onto the beach.
