The Package
The biggest scream on the South Coast
Oribi Gorge is a 24 km, 400 m-deep cut through the South Coast hinterland, and someone very sensibly decided to hang a swing across it. The Wild Gorge Swing is the highest of its kind anywhere — a 165 m free-fall arc. Around it there is abseiling, white-water rafting on the Mzimkulwana and some of the best short hikes in the province. Two nights, and a group that will not shut up about it afterwards.

Getting there — your choice
Let us drive. Return transfer from Durban plus the runs between the lodge, Wild 5 and Lake Eland. The gorge roads are steep and narrow in places, which is more fun from a passenger seat.
Self-drive. Prefer your own car? We drop the transport element and adjust the package accordingly — you still get the accommodation, the activities and the full itinerary, plus directions and our local phone support for the whole trip.
Stay & Play
Your base
A lodge or self-catering chalet at or near Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve, on the rim. Twin, double and group options. Unfussy, well located, and quiet once the adrenaline wears off.
